Zucchini and Ground Beef Skillet (Print)

# Ingredients:

→ Vegetables

01 - 2 medium zucchinis, washed and chopped into half-moons
02 - 1 bell pepper, any color, diced
03 - 1 medium onion, diced
04 - 3 cloves garlic, minced

→ Protein

05 - 450 g lean ground beef (80% lean)

→ Pantry and Seasonings

06 - 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
07 - Salt, to taste
08 - Black pepper, to taste

# Steps:

01 - Wash and chop the zucchinis into half-moons. Dice the bell pepper and onion. Mince the garlic.
02 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and diced onion, sautéing until fragrant and translucent, about 2 to 3 minutes.
03 - Add ground beef to the skillet. Cook, breaking it up with a spatula, until fully browned, approximately 5 to 7 minutes.
04 - Stir in diced bell pepper and chopped zucchini. Sauté, stirring occasionally, until zucchini is crisp-tender, about 5 to 6 minutes.
05 - Season mixture generously with salt and black pepper. Adjust seasoning as desired. Serve hot.

01 - For extra flavor, consider adding dried Italian herbs or a pinch of crushed red pepper.
