Place salt on a small plate. Rub a lime wedge around the outer rim of a rocks glass and dip the rim into the salt to thoroughly coat. Refrigerate the glass until ready to serve.

In a cocktail shaker, combine cubed watermelon, lime juice, and agave syrup. Muddle the mixture well to extract all the juice and flavors.

Double strain the mixture using a fine mesh strainer into the prepared glass filled halfway with ice. Garnish with lime and watermelon wedges if desired. Serve immediately.
