Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F).

Generously butter a medium baking dish, approximately 2 litres and at least 4 cm deep.

Combine milk, 65 g of the granulated sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, kosher salt and flour in a blender. Blend on high speed until smooth and foamy, about 1 minute.

Pour a 0.5 cm layer of batter into the prepared baking dish. Place dish in oven and bake for 5 minutes, or until batter just sets.

Evenly distribute the sliced peaches over the set batter. Sprinkle remaining granulated sugar (about 2 tablespoons) over the fruit. Carefully pour the remaining batter over the peaches.

Bake in the centre of the oven for 50 to 55 minutes, until puffed, golden, and a knife inserted into the centre comes out clean.

Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly before serving.

Just before serving, dust the top with powdered sugar using a fine sieve or shaker. Serve warm.
