Lemon Herb Grilled Chicken (Print)

Zesty lemon and fresh herbs add bold flavor to succulent grilled chicken—perfect for quick summer dinners.

# Ingredients:

→ Marinade

01 - 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (approximately 680 g)
02 - 60 ml extra virgin olive oil
03 - Juice of 2 fresh lemons
04 - 4 garlic cloves, finely minced
05 - 2 tablespoons fresh thyme, chopped
06 - 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
07 - Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

# Steps:

01 - In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, thyme, parsley, salt, and black pepper until fully emulsified.
02 - Place the chicken breasts in a resealable bag or shallow glass dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring each piece is well coated. Cover or seal and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to infuse.
03 - Preheat an outdoor grill or grill pan to medium-high heat (approximately 190°C). Lightly oil the grill grates to prevent sticking.
04 - Remove chicken breasts from the marinade, letting excess drip off. Grill for 6 to 7 minutes per side, turning once, until well-marked and the internal temperature reaches 74°C at the thickest part.
05 - Transfer the chicken to a clean plate and allow it to rest for 5 minutes before slicing against the grain. Serve immediately alongside complementary side dishes.

# Notes:

01 - For optimal juiciness, avoid overcooking the chicken and always rest before slicing to retain moisture.
