Farm Fresh Peach Cobbler (Print)

Golden peach cobbler with warm spices, buttery crust, and fresh or canned peaches. Enjoy hot or cold with ice cream.

# Ingredients:

→ Filling

01 - 2 cups fresh peaches, sliced (or 820 g canned peaches, drained)
02 - 1 cup granulated sugar

→ Batter

03 - 1 cup Bisquick all-purpose baking mix
04 - 1 cup whole milk
05 - 0.5 teaspoon ground nutmeg
06 - 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
07 - 0.5 cup unsalted butter, melted

# Steps:

01 - Set oven to 190°C (375°F) to preheat.
02 - In a 20 x 20 cm baking dish, thoroughly mix Bisquick baking mix, whole milk, ground nutmeg, and ground cinnamon. Stir in melted unsalted butter until batter is smooth.
03 - In a medium mixing bowl, gently combine sliced peaches with granulated sugar.
04 - Evenly spoon the peach mixture over the batter in the baking dish.
05 - Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until the crust turns golden brown.
06 - Allow to cool briefly. Serve warm, optionally with vanilla ice cream.

# Notes:

01 - All-purpose flour may substitute Bisquick, but Bisquick yields enhanced flavor.
02 - For reduced sweetness, omit granulated sugar if using peaches canned in heavy syrup or overripe peaches.
03 - Cobbler can be enjoyed hot with ice cream or served cold.
