Preheat oven to 190°C and line a baking tray with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

In a large mixing bowl, mix ground beef, shredded cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, onion, green bell pepper (if using), garlic powder, smoked paprika, dried oregano, black pepper, egg, Worcestershire sauce, and salt until thoroughly combined.

Scoop portions of the mixture and roll into balls approximately 2.5 cm in diameter.

Place meatballs on the prepared tray, spaced apart. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until browned and cooked through. Internal temperature should reach 71°C.

If desired, mix ketchup and Worcestershire sauce for glaze. Brush glaze over meatballs about 5 minutes before the end of baking.

Remove from oven and allow to rest for several minutes. Serve warm with preferred dipping sauce such as ranch, barbecue, or hot sauce.
