Churro Saltine Toffee Delight (Print)

Irresistible churro saltine toffee with cinnamon, chocolate drizzle, and a sprinkle of sea salt.

# Ingredients:

→ Toffee Base

01 - 200 g saltine crackers
02 - 230 g unsalted butter
03 - 200 g brown sugar

→ Topping

04 - 200 g semi-sweet chocolate chips
05 - 2 g ground cinnamon
06 - 40 g granulated sugar
07 - 2 g sea salt

# Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 180°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Place saltine crackers in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet to fully cover the surface.
03 - Melt unsalted butter and brown sugar together in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring frequently until mixture reaches a boil.
04 - Pour the hot toffee mixture evenly over the crackers, spreading to coat. Bake for 5–7 minutes or until bubbling.
05 - Remove pan from oven and immediately sprinkle semi-sweet chocolate chips evenly over the hot toffee layer. Wait 2 minutes, then gently spread the melted chocolate to cover.
06 - Combine granulated sugar and ground cinnamon in a bowl. Sprinkle evenly over the warm chocolate layer.
07 - Lightly sprinkle sea salt over the surface.
08 - Allow toffee to cool completely at room temperature. Break into pieces for serving.

# Notes:

01 - For a clean finish, chill the tray briefly in the refrigerator to set the chocolate before breaking into pieces.
