# Ingredients:

01 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
02 - 1 medium onion, diced
03 - 1 green bell pepper, diced
04 - 1 red bell pepper, diced
05 - 1 jalapeno, diced
06 - 450 grams ground beef
07 - 120 millilitres soy sauce
08 - 1 tablespoon garlic powder
09 - 1 teaspoon salt
10 - 2 teaspoons ground black pepper
11 - Steamed rice, for serving

# Steps:

01 - In a large pan over medium heat, melt the butter until foaming.
02 - Add the diced onion, green bell pepper, red bell pepper, and jalapeno. Cook, stirring occasionally, for about 5 minutes until vegetables begin to soften.

04 - Transfer contents to a colander to drain excess fat, then return mixture to the pan.
05 - Add soy sauce, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir until ingredients are evenly combined and heated through.
06 - Spoon the beef and pepper mixture over steamed rice and serve hot.

# Notes:

01 - For milder flavour, remove jalapeno seeds before dicing.
02 - Nutritional values are approximate and may vary depending on product brands and serving sizes.
03 - For best results, use freshly cooked rice.
