Bacon Cheeseburger Meatloaf Bake (Print)

# Ingredients:

→ Meat Mixture

01 - 680 g ground beef
02 - 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
03 - 120 g sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
04 - 60 g breadcrumbs
05 - 60 ml ketchup
06 - 60 ml yellow mustard
07 - 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
08 - 1 onion, finely chopped
09 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
10 - 2 eggs, beaten
11 - Salt and pepper, to taste

→ Topping

12 - 120 ml ketchup
13 - 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
14 - 2 tablespoons brown sugar

# Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 175°C. Lightly grease a metal or cast-iron loaf pan.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, crumbled bacon, shredded cheddar, breadcrumbs, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, onion, minced garlic, beaten eggs, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until homogenous.
03 - Shape the meat mixture to fit the prepared loaf pan and gently press it in, ensuring an even surface.
04 - In a small bowl, mix together ketchup, yellow mustard, and brown sugar until smooth.
05 - Evenly spread the topping mixture over the meatloaf surface.
06 - Bake for 60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches at least 70°C and the topping is caramelized.
07 - Allow the loaf to rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm with sides or on bread as desired.
