Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add rotini pasta and cook according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sliced sausage and cook for 5–7 minutes until browned and caramelized. Remove sausage and set aside.

If necessary, add a small amount of olive oil to the skillet. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant and golden.

Add BBQ sauce, honey, paprika, chili powder, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir thoroughly and simmer for 2–3 minutes until sauce is slightly thickened.

Return browned sausage to the skillet along with drained pasta. Toss to coat all ingredients evenly with sauce.

Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley and serve hot.
