Smashburger Quesadillas Melty Twist (Print)

Ground beef, cheese, and tortillas come together for an easy, bold handheld packed with flavor.

# Ingredients:

01 - 450 grams ground beef
02 - 4 large flour tortillas
03 - 120 grams shredded cheddar cheese or American cheese

→ Seasoning

04 - Salt, to taste
05 - Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
06 - Garlic powder, to taste

→ Optional toppings

07 - Pickles, sliced
08 - Diced onions
09 - Burger sauce

# Steps:

01 - Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium-high heat until hot.
02 - Divide ground beef into four equal portions. Place each portion onto one half of a tortilla and firmly press the beef to an even layer. Generously season the beef with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
03 - Place each tortilla, beef side down, onto the hot skillet. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes until the beef develops a deep golden crust.
04 - Carefully flip each tortilla, sprinkle shredded cheese over the cooked beef, and fold the tortilla in half to enclose the filling.
05 - Continue cooking, turning as needed, until both sides are golden brown and the cheese has melted, about 2 to 3 minutes per side.
06 - Cut quesadillas into wedges and serve hot with pickles, diced onions, and burger sauce if desired.

# Notes:

01 - For an extra crisp finish, lightly brush the outside of each tortilla with a small amount of oil or melted butter before grilling.
