Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps (Print)

Melty cheese and garlic-infused chicken combine in warm tortillas for a simple, crowd-pleasing comfort food.

# Ingredients:

→ Filling

01 - 2 cups cooked chicken breast, diced
02 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
03 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
04 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
05 - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
06 - Salt, to taste
07 - Black pepper, to taste

→ Wrap

08 - 4 medium flour tortillas

→ Finish and Garnish

09 - 1 tablespoon butter
10 - 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)

# Steps:

01 - If using raw chicken, season lightly with salt and black pepper. Cook by baking, sautéing, or grilling until fully done. Dice into small bite-sized pieces and set aside.
02 - Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds to 1 minute until golden and fragrant. Add diced chicken and toss to evenly coat in garlic oil.
03 - Remove pan from heat and immediately stir in mozzarella and cheddar cheeses. Mix thoroughly so the residual heat begins to melt the cheese.
04 - Lay one tortilla flat. Spoon a generous portion of the cheesy garlic chicken mixture into the center. Fold in the sides and roll tightly into a wrap.
05 - Melt butter in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Place wraps seam-side down and press gently. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side until golden brown and crisp, turning carefully.
06 - Transfer cooked wraps to a board. Let rest 1 to 2 minutes before slicing. Sprinkle with chopped parsley if desired and serve warm.

# Notes:

01 - Swap in rotisserie chicken for speed, or add vegetables such as spinach, mushrooms, or sautéed onions for extra nutrition.
02 - Use gluten-free tortillas for a gluten-free variation; opt for whole wheat or low-carb tortillas for specific dietary preferences.
03 - For added garlic flavor, brush tortillas with garlic butter before toasting.
04 - Serve with green salad, potato wedges, or tomato soup for a balanced meal.
05 - For crispy reheating, use a skillet or toaster oven instead of a microwave.
