Air Fryer Parmesan Crusted Chicken (Print)

Golden Parmesan breaded chicken, crisp outside and tender inside, prepared quickly in the air fryer.

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (approximately 680 g total weight)

→ Seasoning

02 - 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
03 - 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
04 - 1 teaspoon salt
05 - 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
06 - Olive oil spray, as needed

→ Coating

07 - 1 cup (approximately 80 g) freshly grated Parmesan cheese
08 - 1 cup (approximately 60 g) panko breadcrumbs

# Steps:

01 - Pat chicken breasts thoroughly dry using paper towels for optimal crispiness.
02 - Combine salt, black pepper, Italian seasoning, minced garlic, and a light spray of olive oil in a bowl. Evenly rub this mixture onto all sides of each chicken breast.
03 - In a separate bowl, mix freshly grated Parmesan cheese with panko breadcrumbs until well blended.
04 - Dredge each seasoned chicken breast in the Parmesan-panko mixture, pressing lightly to ensure a uniform, thorough coating.
05 - Preheat air fryer to 190°C for 3 minutes.
06 - Place coated chicken breasts in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Mist the tops lightly with olive oil spray.
07 - Air fry for 12–15 minutes until coating is golden and internal temperature of the chicken reaches 74°C. Serve immediately while hot.

01 - Patting the chicken dry prior to seasoning helps achieve a crispier exterior in the air fryer.
02 - For optimum flavor and crunch, use freshly grated Parmesan rather than pre-shredded.
